Mr. Pinyo Jaroensuk

Profile: Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University. In 2022, he participated in a three-month short-term study program at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Kobe University, before completing his Master of Nursing Science in Adult and Gerontological Nursing at Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University in 2023.


Q1: What do you do in your current role?
I teach undergraduate general education courses in disaster survival and emergency care, a critical care nursing specialty program for registered nurses, and graduate courses in adult and gerontological nursing. My responsibilities include lecture preparation, classroom teaching, clinical instruction, and student evaluation. In addition, I conduct research and advise and mentor nursing students.

Q2: What has been the most memorable experience in your current work?
The most memorable experience in my current work has been enhancing students’ knowledge and skills and conducting research that contributes to improved patient care.

Q3: Why you wanted to pursue this career?
I wanted to pursue this career because I wish to educate and mentor nursing students, enabling them to conduct research and contribute new knowledge that can enhance patient care in the future.

Q4: What has been your most memorable experience in the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program?
I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in nursing and risk management at Kobe university and hospital from CAMPUS Asia Plus Program, particularly in conducting research and publishing in international journals.

Q5: How learning from the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program has benefited your current work?
I gained valuable knowledge from the program in areas such as nursing, family nursing, gerontological nursing, and risk management. I have been able to apply this knowledge extensively in my current teaching. I also gained experience in conducting research and publishing international journal in collaboration with faculty, which has enabled me to carry out and publish my own research at the international journal. Additionally, my internship at Kobe University Hospital provided me with practical knowledge, experience, and a professional network that greatly support my current teaching and research activities.

Always stay curious and committed to learning. Take every opportunity to gain knowledge, practical experience, and build connections. These will guide your growth as a practitioner and researcher in the future.
