Activities

It was great for me to be in Kobe GSICS since I enjoyed my chance to learn from various courses different from ones offered in Korea university.

Although it was challenging to handle many assignments and prepare for the presentations, I believe it was undoubtedly a valuable experience. During social research methods course, I could practice interview with assigned pair, and learned how to write interview guide. Again, I learned some practical skills during the course. I had consultation session with my research advisor. I also joined his special seminar and student sessions.

Discussing about the students’ research helped me to develop my own research and guided my further research direction too. It is great to interact with other students with different nationalities in GSICS. They have different backgrounds and experiences, so it was a good chance to make a network with them and learn from each other ’s insights
