Mr.Sonexay Chanthasak

Throughout the semester, I had the opportunity to participate in special seminars where I gained valuable insights from various perspectives and engaged in discussions on diverse issues with my classmates. Additionally, I had the opportunity to enroll in a wide range of subjects, including ‘Human Capital Development,’ ‘United Nations (UN) and SDGs,’ ‘Macroeconomics,’ ‘Microeconomics,’ and ‘Risk Management.’ The lectures were conducted by excellent instructors, fostering a productive learning environment conducive to conducting quality research. Furthermore, the ‘Risk Management’ course arranged field trips, which significantly enhanced my understanding of the importance of risk management in ensuring sustainable development and mitigating future risks to communities.

Through these classes, I acquired invaluable knowledge, gained practical experience, and honed both hard and soft skills. Moreover, I was offered the opportunity to undertake an online internship at the World Bank. It was indeed an honor to intern at such a prestigious institution, where I was able to apply my analytical skills and enhance my proficiency in using STATA.

Aside from academic experiences, my time in Japan allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty of Japanese culture and history. Exploring the Kansai region allowed me to experience vivid festivals and regional cuisines in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe.
