Short-term Study

Kobe University to Korea University

GSICS

Mr. Sueda Ryosuke

In the Korean language class, students were taught how to read Korean and simple words and greetings. Special lectures were held on ODA projects related to water resource management in Korea, career paths in international cooperation, and how to write cover letters and CVs when applying to international organizations, which led to lively discussions. In addition, the field trip provided an opportunity to experience Korean history and culture, including a visit to the “DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)” on the border between the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the former presidential palace “Cheongwadae,” and a chance to try on hanbok (traditional Korean dress). The participants also had the opportunity to experience Korean history and culture. The students from Fudan University who participated in the program with us had a very meaningful time exchanging opinions about Chinese history and Japanese culture, and learning about the Korean War together at the War Memorial Museum.
