12月９日、神戸大学大学教育推進機構異分野共創型教育開発センターキックオフシンポジウムを開催しました。
異分野共創型教育開発センターは、令和４年４月１日に大学教育推進機構内に設置された新しいセンターです。今回のシンポジウムを通じて、学内外に本センターの組織、担う役割、活動内容を紹介するとともに、神戸大学が目指す教育を広く知ってもらうことを期待し開催しました。
第１部では、大村直人 異分野共創型教育開発センター長／教育・グローバル担当理事から「神戸大学の教育および異分野共創型教育開発センターの展望」をテーマに講演、また、センターに設置するプログラムコーディネート部門及びプログラム開発部門の紹介を鶴田宏樹、金子由芳 両部門長から行いました。続いて、本センターが重点課題として位置づける「国際共修」において、第一人者の末松和子 東北大学総長特別補佐から「我が国における国際共修教育の意義と課題」をテーマに、東北大学のこれまでの取組及び今後の展開などをご講演いただき、本学が取り組む課題の道標となる貴重なお話を伺える機会となりました。
第２部では、石毛郁治Malaria No More Japan事務局長、木村出 JICA関西所長をお招きし、また、第１部でご講演いただいた末松和子氏、本学の国際共修事業に着手している黒田千晴グローバル教育センター准教授、村山かなえ異分野共創型教育開発センター特命講師及び学生２名を交え、パネルディスカッションを開催しました。
それぞれ異なるバックグラウンドを持つパネリストから自らの体験を交えながら、世界の課題に取り組む人材を育成していく過程で大切なことは何かなど、活発な討論を行っていただきました。最後に、寺内直子 異分野共創型教育開発センター副センター長からの閉会挨拶により終了しました。
今回は、対面及びオンラインによるハイブリッド形式で開催しましたが、オンラインを含む約41名の参加、当日はYouTube Liveで174回の視聴がありました。本シンポジウム実施後のアンケートでは、「複数の視点から異分野共創・国際共修に関する大変興味深いお話を聞けました。」などの貴重なご感想をいただきました。
The Kick-off Symposium of the Center for Development of Co-Creative Education, Kobe University's Institute for Promotion of Higher Education, was held on December 9.
The Center for Development of Co-Creative Education is a new center established on April 1, 2022, within the Institute for Promotion of Higher Education. This symposium was held to introduce the organization, roles, and activities of the center to people inside and outside the university, and to promote the education that Kobe University aims to provide.
In the first part, OHMURA Naoto, Director of the Center for Development of Co-Creative Education and Executive Vice President in Charge of Education and Internationalization, gave a lecture on the theme of "Outlook on Education at Kobe University and the Center for Development of Co-Creative Education." In addition, TSURUTA Hiroki and KANEKO Yuka, the heads of the Program Coordination and Program Development Sections at the Center, gave an introduction to the Center's new Program Coordination and Program Development Sections. Next, Ms. SUEMATSU Kazuko, Special Advisor to the President of Tohoku University, who is a leading expert on intercultural collaborative learning, a priority issue for the center, gave a lecture on past efforts and future development at Tohoku University under the theme of the "Significance and Issues of Intercultural Collaborative Learning in Japan," providing a valuable opportunity to hear her talk on the topic of the university's initiatives.
In the second part, we invited Mr. ISHIGE Fumiharu, Secretary General of Malaria No More Japan, and Mr. KIMURA Izuru, Director of JICA Kansai, and held a panel discussion with Ms. SUEMATSU Kazuko, who gave a lecture in the first part, Associate Professor KURODA Chiharu, Global Education Center, who leads the Intercultural Collaborative Learning Project at Kobe University, and Project Associate Professor MURAYAMA Kanae, alongside two students from the Center for Development of Co-Creative Education.
The panelists, each with different backgrounds, shared their own experiences and engaged in a lively discussion on what is important in the process of developing human resources to tackle global issues. The symposium concluded with closing remarks by TERAUCHI Naoko, Deputy Director of the Center for Development of Co-Creative Education.
This year's event was held in a hybrid format, both in-person and online, with approximately 41 participants, including online participants, and 174 views on YouTube Live on the day of the event. A survey conducted after the symposium included valuable comments including "I heard very interesting discussions from a range of perspectives on multidisciplinary. co-creative and intercultural collaborative learning."
