ARTMILE MURAL EXHIBITION AT UNESCO
【Date】Dec. 12th to 16th
,2016 (10:00AM to 5:00 PM)
【Venue】UNESCO Headquarter (7
Place de Fontenoy 75007 Paris, Corridor X-XI, B1)
【Organizer】Japan Art Mile
【Co-organizer】Permanent
Delegation of Japan to UNESCO
This
exhibition will be organized by Japan Art Mile and the Permanent Delegation of
Japan to UNESCO. It is unusual that the NGO in Japan can do an exhibition at
the UNESCO Headquarters. We suppose that it is because ESD(Education for
Sustainable Development) is a focus throughout the world.
Art
Mile is a program recommended by UNESCO ASPNet since it is a very good way to
learn about ESD. It is also accepted as an Global Action Program from UNESCO
starting from 2015 till 2025.
In the
exhibition, we will show the activities done in 2015 between schools of Japan
and other countries (France, Indonesia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines,
Thailand).
