Dr. Ohsawa is engaged in research and education on marine meteorology and its associated engineering.  He particularly devotes himself to researches on meteorological aspects of offshore wind farm development, based on knowledge of meteorology. He aims to teach "practical meteorology" to utilize blessings of the sea maximally and make human activities at sea be as safe as possible.
