Koji Kuraoka loves manufacturing and inventing novel functional materials and membranes that are useful in the world. Novel functional membranes with gas permselectivity, gas barrier properties, environmental compatibility, environmental purification are developing using organic-inorganic hybrid technology for inorganic materials such as glass/ceramics and organic materials such as polymers and functional molecules with various properties. We are conducting joint research with companies, and belong to the Research Center for Membrane and Film Technology at Kobe University, aiming at the practical application of new functional materials and membranes.
