Global Action Program乮GAP乯

What is Global Action Programs Mileage Program?

侾丂GAP Mileage Program
The 乬GAP Mileage Program乭 is a way to grade your activities. 乬Grades乭 are often considerd as 乬evaluation乭 and 乬valuation乭, but this GAP Mileage Program 乬sees the value of what the student was doing乭.

The 乬GAP Mileage Program乭 scales your credit as 乬kmi乭. You will have 6 years before graduation (if you are in the 1st grade), we are expecting you to achieve as much as you can. We will grade the miles as 25kmi (first level), 50kmi (middle level), 100kmi (high level). By the way, 100kmi is worth 4 times around the earth.

俀丂How we count 乬GAP Mileage乭
There are 2 types of mileage. They are 乬Participating kmi乭 and 乬Achieved kmi乭 and both will be added as a grade. Below are the details explaining how we measure the miles.

侾乯Participating kmi: Participate in a program and write a feedback report
Guidelines

Join a seminar丂丂丂丂2kmi
Join a program which has an overnight stay study tour

(depends on the difficulty and if electives were done)  5kmi
Long term training

(depends if it is domestic, overseas, difficulty and if electives were done) 1025kmi
If one person applies to many programs, we shall make a limit for application.

俀乯Achieved kmiIf a student乫s activity had successful results, the student will receive additional mileage.
Guidelines

If a student wins a prizedepends on the difficulty乯丂丂丂丂丂 丂 15 kmior special 10 kmi
If a student does a presentation in public

(such as an academic meeting) (if by invitation, we will honor more)15 kmi
If a student乫s attitude was great
丂丂丂 13 kmi丂丂丂丂

俁乯GAP Mileage is basically for Global Action Programs associated activities.

係乯If a new program starts, we will examine the kmi for each program.

俆乯GAP Mileage is valid through 1st to 6th grade.

俇乯Your mileage will be revised and recorded each year.

俈乯For the University entrance recommendation, we will use 乬GAP Mileage kmi乭 as a 乬recommendation point乭.
